What This Job Is All About
The People Delivery Assistant is part of the Human Resources (HR) team. Your main job is to support HR operations and help make sure everything runs smoothly at branch level.
You will work closely with the Divisional People Partner and Regional People Partners. This means you will learn directly from experienced HR professionals while gaining hands-on experience.
This role is perfect for someone who is organized, enjoys helping others, and pays attention to small details.
Your Daily Duties and Responsibilities
HR Administration Tasks
- Keep employee records updated and well organized
- Capture and maintain HR data on company systems
- Help prepare and update HR documents when needed
- Make sure all files are ready for audits and checks
Reporting and Record Keeping
- Complete weekly reports and HR audits
- Manage monthly attendance registers for staff training
- Keep accurate records for future reference
Supporting Employees
- Assist with HR-related questions like leave, pay, and benefits
- Help with employee headcount and basic HR queries
- Support general HR tasks when needed
Events and Staff Engagement
- Help organize company events such as long service awards and staff appreciation days
- Assist with training sessions and staff activities
- Support employee engagement programs
Supplies and Uniforms
- Order and distribute uniforms and PPE (protective clothing)
- Make sure staff receive what they need for their roles
What You Need to Apply
To qualify for this job, you must meet the following requirements:
Education
- A Degree or Diploma in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field (this is required)
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in an HR admin or HR assistant role
- Experience working with HR processes and supporting employees
