About the Senwes Equipment Apprenticeship 2026-2029
Senwes Equipment is offering a apprenticeship programme for South African applicants interested in becoming a qualified Technician. The Senwes Equipment Apprenticeship is a great opportunity for anyone who is keen on understanding how the company operates and what it takes to become a professional technician. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be placed in the company’s Technical Department, and you will be responsible for the mechanisation and maintenance of technical services that are to do with the agriculture sector.
During the apprenticeship, you will:
- Follow all workshop safety procedures and standards
- Gain practical exposure to mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Perform workshop administration and housekeeping duties
- Participate in product-specific technical training and development programmes
- Assist with the servicing, maintenance, and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment
- Provide professional customer service and technical support
- Participate in fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting processes
- Assist with stock management and parts control
