This role is mainly focused on registry support, records management, filing, correspondence handling and ensuring that official SAPS files are properly maintained and protected.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification recognised by SAQA.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must be proficient in English and at least one other official language.

  • Maintaining the filing system according to established procedures.
  • Providing effective archives and registry correspondence support.
  • Receiving, withdrawing and dispatching files.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Drawing and dispatching brought-forward files.
  • Filing finalised posts and records numerically.
  • Tracking, tracing and seeking files when required.
  • Auditing files to ensure proper records management.
  • Attending to registry-related enquiries.
  • Delivering a professional service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Protecting the integrity of files and preventing unauthorised access to records.
