Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • NQF Level 4 qualification, Grade 12, or an equivalent qualification

  • Ability to manage documents, files, and correspondence accurately
  • Basic understanding of filing and record management systems will be an advantage

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient registry and records management support. Duties include:

  • Providing registry counter services
  • Attending to clients and assisting with enquiries
  • Handling telephone and other registry-related enquiries
  • Receiving and registering hand-delivered mail and files
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Receiving, sorting, registering, and dispatching mail
  • Distributing notices related to registry matters
  • Opening and closing files according to the record classification system
  • Filing, storing, tracing, and retrieving documents and files manually and electronically
  • Completing index cards for all files
  • Operating office machines related to registry functions
  • Updating registers daily
  • Processing documents for archiving and disposal
