About the Programme
My-College Inservice Training 2025 offers SETA-funded internships for South African youth (18–35). TVET N6 internships (18 months) in Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Managerial Assistant, Business Management, Public Management, and Marketing Management lead to National Diplomas. Graduate internships (12 months) in Finance and Information Technology provide workplace experience.
Programme Purpose
The programme addresses 45.5% youth unemployment by equipping TVET N6 and graduate youth with practical skills, SETA-accredited qualifications, and employability in finance, HR, IT, and management fields, supporting South Africa’s economic transformation.
Key Responsibilities
TVET N6 Internships:
- Assist with financial reporting, HR administration, office management, marketing campaigns, or public administration.
- Complete logbooks for National Diploma requirements.
- Support operational tasks under mentor guidance.
Graduate Internships:
- Support budgeting, auditing, IT systems, or software development.
- Contribute to projects in finance or IT departments.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance skills.

Eligibility Criteria
TVET N6 Internships:
- South African citizen, aged 18–35.
- N6 certificate from a public TVET college in listed fields.
- Unemployed, no prior internship.
Graduate Internships:
- South African citizen, aged 18–35.
- Degree/diploma in Finance or Information Technology.
- Unemployed, no prior internship.
Required Skills
- Basic administration, finance, or IT skills.
- Communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn in a professional setting.
Preferences
- Employment Equity candidates (e.g., Black, Coloured, Indian).
- Unemployed youth with no prior experience.
- Commitment to completing the full programme.
