Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- NQF Level 01 or 02 qualification
- ABET Level 02 certificate or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing food service and catering support at the Land Court. Duties include:
- Cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment
- Providing catering support services
- Keeping stock of kitchen utensils and equipment
- Applying hygiene and safety measures
- Maintaining quality control of all food provided
- Removing and disposing of kitchen waste
- Preparing food, snacks and beverages such as water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and cold drinks
- Setting up and transporting crockery, cutlery and equipment to dining areas
- Serving food and beverages
- Washing dishes
- Monitoring food supplies and reporting waste or losses
- Packing supplies received in food storage areas
- Ensuring equipment is serviceable and reporting defects or shortages
- Setting tables, including decoration
- Ensuring only authorised personnel access the kitchen or consume meals
- Applying safety measures in the work environment
- Following control measures and standard operating procedures
