About the Eskom Youth Employment Programme 2026
Eskom is currently providing keen applicants the chance to improve their abilities during their unemployed period with their youth employment programme. The Youth Employment Programme combines structured classroom instruction with practical, on-the-job training in a retail environment, allowing participants to develop both theoretical knowledge and hands-on workplace experience.
Upon successfully completing the programme, participants are awarded an NQF Level 2 Occupational Qualification as a Checkout Operator, equipping them with nationally recognized skills for future employment opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria

- Hold a valid Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Be currently unemployed

- Work effectively in a team environment and show a willingness to learn
- Refrain from being registered in any Learnership or Skills Programme at the time of application.
