Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity provider, through the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), offers a 3-year Artisan Training Programme to develop technical skills in electrical disciplines. Targeting motivated individuals, the programme combines institutional learning with hands-on training across Northern Grid sites, equipping participants with a trade test certificate to launch careers in the energy sector.

Programme Purpose

The programme aims to address South Africa’s skills shortage in technical fields, empowering youth with practical and theoretical training in electrical disciplines. Eligibility Criteria

South African citizen.
One of the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (50%), Physical Science (50%), English (40%).
- N3 Engineering Certificate with English (40%).
- NCV Level 4 with Mathematics (50%), Physical Science (50%), English (40%).
No prior work experience required; technical training exposure is an advantage.
Clear criminal record, verified via background checks.
