Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- General Education and Training Certificate (GETC), Grade 9 or Standard 7
- Appropriate experience in a pneumatic tube station environment
- Knowledge of tube distribution services

Inherent Requirements

- Willing to work shifts
- Able to report for duty from 06:30

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation of the Pneumatic Tube System at Tygerberg Hospital.

- Operating the Pneumatic Tube System

- Reporting defective specimens
- Transporting specimens from various laboratories
- Receiving and dispatching specimens
- Handling postal forms
- Handling medical reports
- Distributing other related documents
- Supporting the smooth running of the hospital’s tube distribution service
