Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming customers as they enter the store
- Assisting customers with product selection and size guidance
- Processing sales transactions accurately at the till
- Maintaining store standards—stock levels, displays, and cleanliness
- Restocking merchandise and arranging attractive product displays
- Handling customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism
- Supporting stockroom operations, including receiving and inventory tasks
Candidate Requirements
To be considered, candidates should have:
- A minimum qualification of Grade 10 or higher
- A friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, though not mandatory
