Position Overview
As a Shop Assistant Cashier, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service: Providing friendly and efficient service to customers.
- Point of Sale Operations: Accurately scanning items and processing payments.
- Promotions: Informing customers about current promotions and encouraging Clicks ClubCard sign-ups.
- Store Maintenance: Assisting with stock replenishment and ensuring the store is clean and organized.
Requirements
- Education: A minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Basic numeracy and cash handling skills.
- Good communication abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
