General Duties as Carpenter Assistant

• Assist in measuring and cutting materials according to project specifications
• Support carpenters in installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and framing
• Transport and organize tools and materials to and from job sites
• Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained
• Perform sanding, drilling, and smoothing tasks as needed
• Assist in assembling and fastening materials using nails, screws, adhesives, and other tools
• Follow blueprints and plans under the guidance of senior carpenters
• Help with demolition tasks, removing old materials and structures
