Position Purpose
The Ubuntu Internships in Gauteng provide 18-month in-service training for N6 learners to complete their National Diploma and 12-month internships for Degree/Diploma graduates to gain practical experience. Fields include Business Management, IT, Engineering, Logistics, and more, with a stipend of R4,000–R7,450/month, fostering career growth and industry readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Support departmental tasks aligned with your qualification (e.g., administrative duties for Business Management, technical support for IT, or design tasks for Engineering).
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop technical and soft skills.
- Assist with project execution, such as data analysis, process optimization, or client support.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of internship activities.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Adhere to workplace policies and contribute to a professional environment.
- Engage in mentorship sessions to build industry knowledge and networks.

Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen with valid ID, aged 18–35 (preferred).
- For N6: Completed N6 certificate in Business Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, IT (Information Systems), Electrical Engineering (Light Current), or Mechanical Engineering.
- For Degree/Diploma: Completed Degree or Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- No prior formal work experience required; unemployed youth preferred.
- Clear criminal record, verified via background checks.
- Residence in Gauteng for reliable commuting.
- Ability to commit to 18 months (N6) or 12 months (Degree/Diploma).
