Tolcon Group is looking for dedicated individuals to handle toll collections, assist road users, and ensure smooth operations at the Huguenot Tunnel and Toll Plaza on the N1.

✅ Requirements – Do You Qualify?

To apply for this role, you must have:

✔ Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate
✔ Knowledge of Toll Collection processes (advantageous)
✔ Excellent communication skills – ability to speak with the public
✔ Strong interpersonal and self-management skills
✔ Basic computer literacy
✔ Good numerical skills – must count cash quickly & accurately
✔ A history of unquestionable integrity
✔ Certificate of Fitness (must be physically fit)

🚦 What You’ll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

As a Tollgate Collector, your main duties will include:

🛣 Operating toll and lane equipment correctly
🚗 Classifying vehicles according to regulations
📋 Reporting incidents, violations, or malfunctioning equipment
🧹 Keeping your toll booth clean and organized
📑 Following all shift procedures
💰 Handling cash and toll documents securely
🙋‍♂️ Providing excellent service to road users
⚠ Complying with all company policies, health, safety, and security procedures
🚨 Reporting fraud or any suspicious activity
