Programme Purpose

The Future Leaders Development Programme (FLDP) is a 24-month internship to recruit recent graduates with leadership potential. Interns join various disciplines, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured learning to prepare for key roles within Tiger Brands.

Available Opportunities and Key Duties

  • Human Resources Graduate/Intern: Support talent management, employee relations, and HR initiatives. Requires Bachelor’s Degree/BTech in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
  • Chemical Engineering Graduate/Intern: Contribute to process optimization and product development. Requires BSc/BEng in Chemical Engineering.
  • Mechanical Engineering Graduate/Intern: Assist in equipment maintenance and engineering projects. Requires BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Corporate Affairs Graduate/Intern: Enhance brand reputation through communications and stakeholder engagement. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, Enterprise Development, Communications, Strategic Communication, or Journalism.
  • Risk Intern: Support safety and risk management processes. Requires National Diploma in Safety Management.
  • Supply Chain Management Graduate/Intern: Optimize logistics and supply chain operations. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Customer Marketing Graduate/Intern: Drive marketing campaigns and consumer engagement. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • CA(SA) Trainee Programme: Support financial reporting and auditing. Requires qualifications in Accounting (CA(SA) Stream).
  • Workplace Experience Student: Finance: Assist in financial planning and cost management. Requires Diploma/Degree in Management Accounting, Cost Management, or Financial Management.

Eligibility Criteria

  • South African citizen with a valid ID and work authorization.
  • Recently completed 3- or 4-year tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, BTech, or Diploma) from an accredited institution.
  • No full-time work experience (more than 1 year, excluding workplace experience).
  • Valid driver’s license and geographical mobility (willing to relocate).
  • Clear criminal record, verified via background checks.
