About the Handyman Role
As a Handyman at The Capital Hotels, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel’s facilities, ensuring a smooth operation and a great experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will cover a range of maintenance tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating, ensuring that the hotel remains in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Tasks: Address maintenance issues across the hotel, including hotel rooms, grounds, pools, and security systems.
- DIY and Repairs: Handle general DIY tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting to keep the hotel in excellent condition.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly to maintain high standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless operations.
- Guest Interaction: Communicate effectively with guests, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any maintenance-related concerns
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Matric certificate is required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a handyman or maintenance role. Additional qualifications in the field are advantageous and can influence salary.
