Job Overview
Total sports (TFG Brand) is looking for a passionate and results-driven individual to join our team in selling Value-Added Services (VAS) products, including Media and Insurance, at our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities
The role of the Specialist Sales Associate involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:
- Serve as a VAS ambassador, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Proactively sell Insurance and Media products to new and existing customers in-store, ensuring that their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Promote a wide range of products while actively monitoring sales performance against targets.
- Identify new sales opportunities and actively pursue them.
- Effectively address customer objections and concerns to reduce product cancellations, using persuasive communication while maintaining high standards of ethics and integrity.
- Uphold integrity and professionalism throughout the sales process, demonstrating honesty and transparency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships both within and outside the organization.
- Approach new challenges with enthusiasm, urgency, and a high energy level.
- Comply with the National Credit Act (NCA) and Protection of Personal Information (POPI) guidelines to ensure responsible lending practices.
- Be flexible with working hours to meet business needs.
- Stay proactive in self-development and continuous learning, particularly through online platforms like PeopleConnect.
- Open and manage new customer accounts while maintaining a proven track record (Portfolio of Evidence required).
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Proven experience in a sales environment.
- Previous experience in the Insurance or Media industry (advantageous).
