The Sasol Artisan Learnerships is on the search for bright-minded candidates who are ready to be a part of their artisan learnership programme. Learners are trained to become qualified miners or mechanics, in which all training credentials are accredited by the South African Mining Qualification Authority.

The learnership expect candidates to be fully committed throughout the entire duration of the learnerships. Furthermore, candidates must be prepared for any underground working situations. Female candidates are more than encouraged to participate in the learnerships.

Upon successful completion of the Sasol Learnerships, you will be entitled to a permanent Blasting Certificate for fiery mines, or EM Trade Certificate – provided that you maintain impeccable progress throughout the learnership. • Ensure you have a completed National Senior Certificate or equivalent with a pass in:
  • Technical Mathematics/Mathematics SG/HG
  • English/Business English SG/HG
  • Technical/Physical Science SG/HG
• Engage in the Learnership programme and successfully complete the assessment process
• Participate in all necessary workplace readiness activities and exercises.
