The South African State Theatre invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Permanent Security Officer Vacancies (X38 Posts). The closing date for applications is the 15th November 2024

POSTS: SECURITY OFFICERS X38

• Reporting to: Senior Manager Maintenance
• Salary: Market related

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Safeguarding personnel, building and valuable building items
• Checking and admitting visitors into the building
• Patrolling the premises at regular intervals
• Responding to any distress calls or alarms
• Monitoring a specific area

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CRITIAL COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Authoritative verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings

PREFFERED MINIMUM EDUCATION:

• Matric
• Grade C Registration with PSIRA

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 1 Year experience as a security guard
