We are looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team!
A Sales Consultant, you will work on the sales floor, welcoming customers, offering product recommendations, and processing transactions. They start conversations with customers, share info about deals, and help them pick the right products. Success is measured by meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. To ensure exposure, increased sales and achievement of targets by representing the company and its brands to the trade at an-in-store level and growing the customer base within the region/area.
- You will be required to have your own smartphone in order to be considered for the position.
- You will be required to upload copies of your Matric Certificate, ID, SARS Letter and Bank Confirmation Letter onto the JOBJACK platform when shortlisted, please note no one will reach out over social media to request your personal documents.
- The Fixed Term contract and duration will be discussed during the interview.
What you’ll do
This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
- Based on cold calling, visiting stores to negotiate orders and sell products to the store
- Develop relationship with store manager
- Place accurate orders with call centre
- Negotiate forward share
- Compile weekly and monthly reports based on customer liaison and sales
- Identify challenges and corrective actions
- Ensure account forms are completed and delivered
- Administer and complete according to requirements
- Gather feedback from customer complaints, queries and requests and ensure resolution
- Monitor order and delivery day
- Build and maintain strong working relationships
- Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained
- Demonstrate consistent application of internal procedures
- Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands
- Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change
- Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organisational needs
