PEP is looking for a Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team, working up to 27 hours per week. As a team-oriented individual, you’ll focus on boosting sales, preventing stock loss, managing inventory, assisting customers, operating the till, and maintaining a cost-conscious approach to help the business succeed. Key Responsibilities

The role of the Part-time Sales Assistant involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Create a welcoming, safe, and secure store environment by following proper procedures.
• Operate the till in line with company policies and maintain a clean workspace.
• Work closely with your team to keep the store efficient and cost-effective.
• Assist customers warmly, promote products, and offer helpful suggestions.
• Address customer questions or issues and inform them about promotions.
• Stay informed about products to help guide customer purchases.
• Greet and assist customers promptly as they enter the store.
• Achieve sales targets and stay updated on new arrivals and offers.
• Assist with stock ordering and visual merchandising.
• Receive and organize deliveries accurately.
• Ensure smooth checkout processes and accurate payment handling.
• Keep up to date with product features and store updates.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, cashiering, or general store duties.
• Must live within 10km of the store.
• A clear criminal record.

Preferred (but not required)

• South African citizen.
• Proficient in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• A genuine interest in retail and delivering excellent customer service.
