Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Cleaner will perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility.
General Cleaning Duties
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Mop and clean production areas when required
- Clean service plant areas regularly
- Clean stainless steel equipment and pipework
- Wash and maintain machine cooling system filters weekly
- Clean drains in production and blending areas
- Clean water baths as required every month
- Wash and sanitize production utensils
- Monitor and clean outside yard areas daily
- Clean and sanitize drums and containers
- Prepare and weigh drums for manufacturing processes
- Clean floors, walls, windows, and production equipment
Additional Duties
The Cleaner may also be required to:
- Clean machinery when instructed by supervisors
- Assist with special cleaning projects
- Support production teams when needed
Health and Safety Responsibilities
