The Public Employment Programme (PEP) is an initiative funded by the National Treasury aimed at providing temporary employment opportunities while contributing to community development and public space management.

The purpose of the job is to provide, general assistance work in support of various departments which includes but not limited to litter picking, verge maintenance, grass cutting and any other public space management related work. .
