What Does a Warehouse Operator Do?
The main purpose of this role is to accurately pick, pack, and count products according to warehouse instructions. Warehouse Operators help ensure that orders are completed correctly and safely before they are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Select products based on picking instructions.
- Pack products securely and correctly.
- Count and verify items for accuracy.
- Report out-of-stock or short-picked items.
- Use warehouse picking equipment.
- Maintain pallet stability during transport preparation.
- Work with inventory teams to report discrepancies.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Report damaged goods or labeling problems.
- Follow company procedures and safety rules.
- Wear appropriate PPE when required.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Electric Pallet Jack License.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar warehouse position.
