Key Responsibilities

The role of the Drivers involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Safely deliver goods to designated locations.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly packed and organized.
• Prevent product damages and breakages during transit.
• Supervise and assist with the loading of goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
• Accurately supply the correct quantities and items as per order.
• Minimize vehicle operating costs.
• Obtain delivery note authorizations from customers.
• Collect COD payments where applicable.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Grade 12 certificate
• Valid driver’s license:
  • Code 10 (HV) for heavy vehicles
  • Code 8 (LV) for light vehicles (less than 3501 kg and up to 9000 kg)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
