About the Diageo Packaging Learnership 2026

The Diageo Packaging Learnership is responsible for developing practical skills and knowledge in manufacturing, packaging, and operational processes within Diageo’s production environment. The role focuses on building technical competencies while ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, quality standards, and Diageo operational procedures. Through structured learning and workplace exposure, learners will gain hands-on experience that supports both personal development and operational excellence.

As part of the learnership programme, the Packaging Learner will be expected to:

• Learn and develop skills in the operation of key production and packaging machinery
• Maintain 100% attendance during all classroom-based learning sessions
• Complete and submit all required portfolio of evidence (PoE) documentation within specified timelines
• Participate actively in workplace observations and practical learning activities
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational standards throughout the programme.

The learner will also contribute to broader operational objectives by:

• Complying with expenditure guidelines and budget requirements established by the Learning and Development (L&D) function
