Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will support the Department’s employment services by performing the following duties:
Register work-seekers on ESSA
Client Service Officers will assist work-seekers with registration on the ESSA system and ensure that their information is captured accurately.
Register work and learning opportunities
The successful candidates will help register available employment, training and learning opportunities.
Refer work-seekers for counselling
Work-seekers who require additional guidance may be referred for employment counselling services.
Support the placement of work-seekers
Candidates will provide administrative support during the process of placing registered work-seekers into suitable employment and learning opportunities.
Perform administrative duties
The position includes general office administration, record management and other duties needed to support the Labour Centre.
Participate in advocacy sessions
Successful candidates may also be required to participate in information and advocacy sessions organised by the Department.
