Programme Purpose
The Human Resources Learnership is a 12-month programme for unemployed South African youth with disabilities. It offers theoretical training and practical experience in HR, leading to an NQF Level 3 Business Administration Services qualification, preparing learners for careers in HR and business administration.
Key Duties
- Provide administrative support in HR operations, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and record-keeping.
- Assist in HR projects, such as employee engagement and training initiatives.
- Support during peak business periods and staff leave, ensuring operational continuity.
- Participate in theoretical training sessions to gain HR and business administration knowledge.
- Collaborate with HR professionals to develop workplace skills like communication and organization.

Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen with a valid ID and work authorization.
- Employment Equity candidate with a disability, verified by a doctor’s letter.
- Matric with Maths/Maths Literacy and English (minimum 40% pass rate).
- Unemployed, aged 18–34, with no prior completion of NQF Level 3 Business Administration.
- Not enrolled in formal full-time studies.
- Clean criminal and credit record, verified via background checks.
- Reside in or near Midrand or be willing to travel.
