Position Purpose
The General Assistant in the Butchery Department plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers in Sunnydale, Western Cape. This permanent, full-time position involves assisting customers, processing payments, managing stock, and maintaining a clean store environment, with a salary of R30–R50/hour and a flexible schedule to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a positive, friendly attitude and offer assistance.
- Share accurate product information, help customers choose, and demonstrate usage.
- Answer customer questions and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.

Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen aged 18–65.
- Matric certificate.
- Fluency in English for customer interactions.
- Residence within 25km of Sunnydale, Western Cape, for reliable commuting.
- Clear criminal record, verified via background checks.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts as needed, including weekends.
- Willingness to complete a Potential Work Performance Assessment Battery.

- Previous experience as a General Assistant, General Worker, or General Clerk.
