Housing Company Tshwane (HCT) is a municipal entity solely owned by the City of Tshwane mandated with development and management of the social and affordable housing in the City of Tshwane seeks to fill the following positions.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
POSITION: GENERAL WORKER X8
REFERENCE: 001/04/2026
TARGET: BLACK MALES
JOB LEVEL: T1
SALARY SCALE:
127 396,20 – 145 322,18 pa (excluding benefits)
Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
Physical fitness and health
Positive attitude
Good Health
Good communications skills
Dependability and trustworthiness
Ability to understand and execute instructions
Ability to immediately switch duties per instruction
To render general routine work at all buildings owned and managed by HCT and maintain good and healthy conditions and standards in the buildings.
Conduct daily upkeep of facilities
Pick up litter and sweep in and around all the buildings owned and managed by HCT
Cut grass, trim trees and de-weed plants on and around pavements and walkways
Clean buildings assigned to the incumbent
Help with loading and unloading different objects
Clean flowerbeds
Clean ablution facilities
Empty bins in all buildings owned and managed by HCT
Remove waste dumping in and around buildings owned and managed by HCT
Handle small equipment and machinery
