With a goal to reach 300 stores by 2025, Galito’s offers exciting opportunities to join a dynamic, customer-focused team delivering affordable, high-quality meals in a vibrant environment.
Available Positions
- Cashiers (Multiple Locations): Handle customer transactions, provide excellent service, and maintain a clean front-of-house area.
- Cooks/Kitchen Staff (Multiple Locations): Prepare flame-grilled chicken, sides, and sauces to Galito’s high standards.
- Waitrons (Vryburg, North West & Other Locations): Serve customers, manage orders, and ensure a welcoming dining experience.
- Restaurant Manager (Western Cape & Other Locations): Oversee daily operations, manage staff, and drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities (Varies by Role)
- Deliver exceptional customer service to create memorable dining experiences.
- Prepare and serve Galito’s signature flame-grilled chicken and homestyle sides.
- Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- For managers: Lead teams, manage budgets, and ensure operational efficiency.
Eligibility Requirements
- Education: Matric/Grade 12 certificate (required for most roles; managers may need a diploma in hospitality or business management).
- Experience:
- Entry-level roles (Cashiers, Cooks, Waitrons): No experience required, but 6–12 months in retail or hospitality is an advantage.
- Restaurant Manager: 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork, reliability, and willingness to work shifts (weekends, public holidays, and overtime).
- Other:
- South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Basic computer literacy for cashier and manager roles.
