Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide general warehouse and stock support at Worcester Regional Hospital.
Duties will include:
- Receiving, handling and issuing warehouse stock.
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing stock and buyouts.
- Maintaining accurate stock records.
- Ensuring adequate stock is available on warehouse shelves.
- Supporting the movement and distribution of stock to hospital departments.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
- Assisting with the delivery and relocation of furniture and equipment.
- Assisting with the disposal of furniture and equipment when required.
- Handling hospital equipment carefully to prevent unnecessary damage.
- Following departmental policies and procedures.
- Complying with attendance, leave and working-hour requirements.
- Following the Department’s Code of Conduct.
- Maintaining professional working relationships with colleagues and other hospital staff.
- Demonstrating accountability and good communication while carrying out assigned responsibilities.
