Joburg Market is inviting South African Citizens who are unemployed and residing within the City of Joburg Municipality to participate in the 2025 EPWP programme for a period of 12 (Twelve) months. The closing date for applications is the 10th January 2025
THE FOLLOWING POSTS ARE AVAILABLE:
GENERAL WORKERS (X50 POSTS): REQUIREMENT: GRADE 10
Duties: Cleaning platforms, compactor, rocker bins, floors and JM surface area, Manning and empting waste bins in accordance with Health and Safe Standards
GENERAL OFFICE CLEANERS (X9 POSTS): REQUIREMENT: GRADE 10
- Duties: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and cleaning offices, kitchen, floors, stairs and bathrooms. Replenishing bathroom utensils and kitchen refreshment
PLATFORM WARDENS (SECURITY) (X10 POSTS): REQUIREMENTS: GRADE 12
- Duties: Performing routine security and public safety patrols in and around the precinct. Controlling access and exit of pedestrians and vehicles to the JM premises and enforcing JM B -Laws
MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT (X10 POSTS): REQUIREMENTS: GRADE 10
- Duties: Unblocking toilets, sewer lines, taps, pipes, cleaning rains. Install lights, fixing plugs, relocating the plugs, painting, changing locks, general repairs
CONSIGNMENT GATE CONTROLLERS (X10 POSTS): REQUIREMENTS: GRADE 12
- Duties: Stopping and searching delivery trucks to verify delivery notes against consignment, direct trucks when required
MARKETING ASSISTANT (X1 POST): REQUIREMENTS: GRADE 12
- Duties: Assisting in performing various Marketing Administrative functions, marketing platforms and displaying and storing marketing branding equipment
HUMAN RESOURCES (X2 POSTS): REQUIREMENTS: GRADE 12
- Duties: Assisting in performing HR administrative functions and filing of documents
FOOD BANK ASSISTANTS (X6 POSTS): REQUIREMENTS GRADE 10
- Duties: Assist in packaging of fresh produce and general cleaning
PROPERTY (X2 POSTS): REQUIREMENTS: GRADE 12
- Duties: Assist in performing various Property related functions
