The University of Pretoria (UP) is a leading research-intensive institution committed to excellence and diversity. As part of its ongoing operations, UP is seeking two dedicated Warehouse Helpers to join the Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and control redundant assets.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe store environment.
- Ensure timely execution of all sectional business processes.
- Facilitate internal movements within agreed timeframes.
- Deliver new and old furniture to various departments.
- Respond promptly to PeopleSoft requests.
- Complete transfer documents and ensure proper handover to the Store Manager.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and undergo regular inspections.
- Assist with the sale process by placing tender documentation on assets designated for sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist with the numbering and marking of items with tender numbers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 qualification.
- At least 6 months of relevant work experience, including:
- Store management.
- Administration.
- Asset environment experience.

- Knowledge of asset and store environments.
