Two Rivers Platinum Mine invites qualifying candidates to apply for the Mining Learnerships 2025.

Two Rivers Platinum Mine is a joint venture between African Rainbow Minerals (ARM) (54%) and Impala Platinum (46%) and is managed by ARM.

The operation is situated on the farm Dwarsrivier on the southern part of the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex some 35 kilometres south-west of Burgersfort in Limpopo, South Africa.

Working at Two Rivers Platinum Mine

Two Rivers Platinum Mine is looking for creative, dedicated and driven people to join the TRP family.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum academic qualification of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Competent A & B Certificate a requirement
• Mining Operations level 2 certificate/ or statement of results
• Literacy in English and Numeracy

Minimum Experience

• A minimum of one year Mining Crew Captain experience
• Must have at least 3 years mechanised mining experience

Responsibilities

• To comply with the South African Qualification Act
• To comply with Mine Health and Safety Act & Regulations

• To comply with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupation (QCTO) requirements
• To achieve all specified Mine Qualification Authority (MQA) Unit standard in accordance with the Registered Learnership Qualification

• To obtain a blasting certificate of competence issued by the DMR
• The successful candidates will be required to enter into a contract with Two Rivers Platinum, binding them to work for Two Rivers Platinum afterwards.

Terms and Conditions

• The successful candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
• Applicants must be prepared to undergo certain job-related assessments, if required as part of the selection process.
• Credit, criminal and reference checks may be done by the Mine if deemed necessary.
