What Does a Port Worker Do?

Container and Rail Operations
- Inspecting container conditions before and after handling
- Opening and closing rail wagon twist-locks

- Supporting reefer (refrigerated container) monitoring operations
General Cleaning and Safety Duties
- Cleaning operational areas, workshops, sheds, offices, rail trucks, and ablution facilities

Reporting and Documentation
- Completing required documentation such as accident reports
- Reporting issues related to cargo handling or equipment
Equipment Identification
