The Thee Gifted Hands Baking Learnership 2026-2027 is a 12-month training programme designed for aspiring bakers who want to gain structured industry experience. The programme combines practical bakery production with mentorship and professional kitchen exposure to prepare participants for careers in the baking field.
The learnership will take place at Thee Gifted Hands Academy in Alberton, Johannesburg (JHB), Gauteng, and two positions are available. Participants will receive hands-on training in a real bakery environment while learning about professional kitchen systems and production workflows.
During the programme, learners will gain experience in:
- Preparing a variety of bakery products such as cakes, cupcakes, desserts, and other baked items
- Understanding professional kitchen hygiene standards and operational systems
- Participating in daily bakery production activities within a working kitchen environment
