Job Title: Teacher – Early Childhood Development (ECD)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our Early Childhood Development (ECD) program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a deep understanding of child development. The teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in children ages 3-5 years old
– Create a safe and supportive classroom environment where children can explore, play, and learn
– Provide individualized attention and support to students to help them reach their full potential

– Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to share information about children’s progress and development
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for all students
– Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:
– NQF Level 5
– Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
– Strong understanding of child development principles and practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
