🔎 Job Overview

As a Surveillance Monitoring Security Officer, your main responsibility will be to monitor gaming and non-gaming activities, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, company standards, and security procedures. You will also be responsible for investigating incidents, reviewing footage, and reporting on security matters to protect the company’s assets, staff, and guests.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

📡 Surveillance & Monitoring

✔ Monitor gaming procedures on the casino floor to ensure compliance.
✔ Scan and track players, jackpots, and table activity.
✔ Conduct system checks and alarm condition monitoring.
✔ Issue and verify playing cards and gaming equipment.
✔ Identify and report significant security concerns.
✔ Proactively monitor high-risk areas and respond to emergencies.

🔍 Investigations & Reporting

✔ Review video footage and reports related to incidents.
✔ Investigate security breaches and variances.
✔ Compile comprehensive reports for management.
✔ Maintain accurate records and evidence for further action.
✔ Escalate major issues to the relevant stakeholders.

✅ Who Can Apply?

🔹 Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification in gaming operations.
🔹 At least 1 year of experience in gaming, security, financial auditing, or law enforcement.
🔹 PSIRA C registration is required.
🔹 Must qualify for a gaming license and meet FICA requirements.
🔹 Experience with surveillance equipment is an advantage.
🔹 Must be able to work shifts and in a smoking environment.
