Key Responsibilities

  • Manager: NYS Coordination and Partnerships: Coordinate NYSP activities, forge partnerships with stakeholders, and advocate for youth development policies.
  • Housekeeper: Maintain clean, safe NYDA facilities in Zululand, Harry Gwala, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, or Umgungundlovu, supporting operational efficiency.
  • Financial Data Analyst: Analyze financial data to support NYDA’s grant and funding programs, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • M&R Data Analyst: Monitor and evaluate NYDA programs, analyzing data to improve outcomes.
  • Finance Analyst: Provide financial insights to optimize NYDA’s budget and resource allocation.
  • M&R Officer: Support monitoring and reporting of NYDA initiatives, ensuring compliance and impact.
  • Project Coordinator: Plan and execute youth development projects, ensuring timely delivery.

Eligibility Criteria

  • South African citizen aged 18–35 (preferred for youth-focused roles).
  • Manager: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field; 5+ years of coordination experience.
  • Housekeeper: Matric certificate; basic cleaning experience preferred.
  • Analysts/Officer: NQF Level 6+ in Finance, Data Science, Monitoring & Evaluation, or related field; analytical skills.
  • Project Coordinator/Manager/Team Leader: NQF Level 6+ in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field; 1–3 years of experience.
  • Residence in or near job location (e.g., Zululand, Harry Gwala) for accessibility.
  • Clear criminal record, verified via background checks.
  • Commitment to NYDA’s mission and fixed-term/permanent contract duration.

Preferences

  • Candidates from Employment Equity groups (e.g., Black youth, women, persons with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of NYDA programs (e.g., NYSP, Grant Programme) or youth development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
