About the Siemens Engineering Learnership 2026
Siemens is searching for candidates who would like to obtain a theoretical knowledge and practical skills focusing on the Engineering department with a learnership. The Siemens Engineering Learnership requires the successful candidate to support the planning, development, and implementation of established testing processes, methods, and technical applications within a structured engineering environment.
The incumbent will assist with a range of testing and operational activities while gaining practical workplace experience under the guidance of experienced professionals. Throughout the learnership, the successful candidate will develop technical knowledge, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and acquire hands-on skills that contribute to the effective delivery of engineering and testing projects.
You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Assist with the preparation of test components and testing sequences in accordance with established test plans and technical specifications
- Support the execution of testing activities and accurately record test results in line with approved procedures and quality standards
- Assist with conducting diagnostic investigations when deviations occur and support the evaluation of testing outcomes
- Contribute to the analysis of testing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, and performance
- Support the implementation of approved corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the organisation’s quality assurance system
- Support the maintenance, review, and updating of the testing manual to ensure it remains accurate and aligned with current procedures.

2. Other Qualifications
- Obtain a Matric / N3 qualification, as this is the preferred academic requirement
