Role Purpose

As a Service Assistant, you will ensure that our residences and office spaces are kept clean and welcoming. Your primary responsibility will be performing various cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and organized environment. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will enhance the experience of both guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Assistant role involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

Perform general cleaning tasks around office buildings.
Dust and polish office furniture.
Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, and restock toilet paper.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness: wipe surfaces, clean refrigerators, ovens, and wash dishes.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum office, reception, boardroom, kitchen, and restroom floors.
Spot clean windows, glass, and other surfaces.
Empty bins and tidy up office areas.
Set up and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
Keep assigned areas organized and sanitary.
Assist with setting up the boardroom for meetings (e.g., tea, coffee, water).
Support other departments to ensure excellent guest service.
Handle additional tasks as required.
Exhibit good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Display responsibility, reliability, and a commitment to cleanliness.
Work well in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:

Matric/Grade 12 Certificate.
At least 2 years of experience as a cleaner or general worker.
Knowledge of cleaning methods and company policies.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
