Key Responsibilities

The role of Security Officers involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Safeguard premises and assets.
• Conduct monitoring and patrols.
• Identify and mitigate security risks.
• Control access and inspect personnel and shipments.
• Maintain incident reports and records.
• Liaise with law enforcement and relevant authorities when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure a secure environment.

Essential Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• PSIRA registration (mandatory).
• Minimum Grade C qualification for entry-level roles.
• Experience required for higher-level positions (entry-level requires none).
• Own transport and cellphone (varies by role).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous)

• Previous security or related experience.
• First aid and fire safety training.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Firearm license and relevant certifications.
