Salary and Benefits
Successful candidates will receive an annual remuneration package ranging from:
R127,497.16 – R170,600.60
The remuneration package includes:

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric), NCV Level 4, or an equivalent qualification.
- One to two years of general work experience or related experience.
- Basic knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act.
- Basic knowledge of First Aid.
- Be physically fit and able to work long hours while standing.
- Be willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions, including hot sun, rain, and strong winds.
- Be available to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
- Have a SARS Tax Reference Number.
- Have a clear criminal record.
- Be able to communicate in English and one other official South African language.
- Be punctual, reliable, and responsible.

- A valid driver’s licence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Seasonal General Worker, you will help keep the park clean, safe, and well-maintained for visitors and staff.
Your daily duties may include the following:
General Maintenance
Carry out general maintenance around the park, including visitor facilities, gardens, accommodation areas, access control points, and public spaces.
Cleaning Duties
Maintain high cleaning standards in:
- Ablution facilities
- Picnic sites
- Visitor facilities
- Conservation areas
- Public areas
- Staff facilities
Waste Management
- Empty rubbish bins.
- Replace waste bags.
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
- Help maintain a clean environment throughout the park.
Assist Visitors
Provide friendly customer service by helping visitors with basic questions and ensuring they enjoy a pleasant visit to the park.
Admission Support
Assist with admissions and visitor management at:
- R27 Entrance Gate
- Langebaan Entrance Gate
Event Assistance
Support park events by helping prepare:
- Guided walks
- Braai areas
- Educational activities
Basic Repairs and Maintenance
Assist with:
- Watering systems
- Sewerage systems
- Braai facilities
- Parking areas
- General visitor infrastructure
Inventory Management
Help monitor and control cleaning supplies, guest amenities, toiletries, stationery, and other equipment used throughout the park.
Report Maintenance Problems
Report issues such as:
- Water leaks
- Broken furniture
- Damaged equipment
- Electrical faults
- Other maintenance concerns
Law Enforcement Support
Assist park staff with basic law enforcement duties, including participating in regular patrols when required.
Traffic and Parking Assistance
Help manage vehicle movement and parking during busy periods to ensure visitor safety.
Health and Safety
Follow all health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment for visitors and staff.
Additional Duties
Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by your manager.
