Control stock levels to guarantee uninterrupted availability of parts and lubricants
Receive incoming goods and verify that the GRN matches the purchase order, delivery note, and/or invoice
Monitor, record, and distribute orders to and from depots, ensuring the date and time are logged and the necessary paperwork is signed
Document any shortages or excess deliveries on the purchase order, invoice, and/or delivery note, with signatures from both the Storeman and the delivery personnel
Record all goods returned to suppliers on a Goods Returned Note, signed by the Storeman and the individual responsible for collection
Create GRNs from supplier delivery notes or invoices, and attach invoices, delivery notes, and orders immediately upon delivery
Process workflows with master-data teams to allocate stock and bin numbers for all items
Conduct stock counts every two weeks
Issue parts to mechanics in accordance with standard operating procedures
Record and update all stock dispensed from the store on the Fleet Systems daily
Request quotations and place purchase orders with suppliers.
