Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide administrative and case-management support to prosecutors.
Key duties will include:
- Registering and scanning incoming dockets
- Capturing information on the Electronic Case Register
- Updating court information daily
- Providing electronic dockets to the defence when requested by prosecutors
- Liaising with prosecutors regarding cases and court matters
- Confirming and recording developments that take place in court
- Contacting prosecutors to obtain information required for reconciliation
- Generating reports from the Electronic Case Register for statistical purposes
- Preparing statistics sheets and case-summary spreadsheets
- Compiling reports using Access, Power BI, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Preparing monthly reports for submission to supervisors, the Director of Public Prosecutions and the National Office
- Updating electronic case-flow information received from prosecutors and the South African Police Service
- Providing case administration and document-management support
- Preparing and maintaining files
- Releasing authorised documents to relevant parties
- Maintaining the electronic disclosure platform
- Assisting with prosecutors’ caseloads
- Performing other administrative duties assigned by the line manager
