Fields of Exposure
The ARPL programme offers placement across five critical trades in South Africa’s technical and industrial sectors:
- Plumbers
- Bricklayers
- Carpenters
- Electricians
- Motor Mechanics
These trades are essential to infrastructure development and maintenance, ensuring sustainable employment for successful candidates.
Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Educational Requirement: A minimum of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- Work Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in one of the listed trades (confirmed by a service letter from a previous employer).
- Candidates must not have previously participated in a learnership, apprenticeship, or skills programme.
- Preference will be given to former Letaba TVET College students.
