About the IoT.nxt Security Learnership 2026
IoT.nxt is on the lookout for candidates who would like to obtain a learnership programme focusing on the Security department and make a career out of it. The IoT.nxt Security Learnership is a collaborative initiative between IoT.nxt and Limco Consulting aimed at supporting unemployed youth who are interested in building a career in information technology. Through this partnership, eligible candidates are offered the opportunity to participate in a 12-month IT Security Learnership Programme aligned with NQF Level 5. The programme is designed to provide structured learning combined with workplace exposure, allowing participants to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills within a professional environment.
The learnership leads to a nationally recognised qualification, the National Certificate in Information Technology: Security (NQF Level 5), which equips learners with key digital and ICT competencies needed in today’s technology-driven business landscape. Participants strengthen their understanding of information security while improving essential skills such as computer literacy, communication, and problem-solving. In addition, the programme supports progression into further studies in IT and business-related fields while preparing learners to operate effectively in a modern digital economy and enhancing their overall workplace readiness.
