In Service Trainee – Quality Assurance
This in-service training programme provides hands-on exposure to quality control processes within a high-performance manufacturing environment and supports career development in quality assurance and production.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting product and packaging quality tests in line with company standards
- Recording, compiling, and reporting quality results accurately
- Identifying quality deviations and reporting out-of-specification findings
- Maintaining proper documentation and audit-ready records
- Supporting quality assurance processes within the manufacturing environment
This role offers practical exposure to food safety, laboratory testing, and quality systems.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40% pass rate)
- At least two South African languages passed at 40% or higher
- Currently studying towards a qualification in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field
- Completion of required theoretical modules and need in-service training to graduate
- South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35
- Unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must not have previously completed an in-service training programme
- Employment Equity candidates will be given preference
