Herotel is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Cleaner based in Sedgefield, Western Cape.

Location: Sedgefield, Western Cape

Purpose of the Role:
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of office buildings. This includes performing routine inspections to ensure that common areas, such as restrooms, are sanitary and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic cleaning tasks in office buildings, such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors, spot cleaning glass and windows, and vacuuming.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, door handles, and other surfaces.
• Refill supplies, including toilet paper and paper towels.
• Clean up spills, broken glass, and other messes promptly.
• Ensure that bathrooms are sanitary and report low cleaning supplies as needed.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication in English.
• Ability to follow and comprehend work tasks.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work daily.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Education Requirements:

• No formal qualification necessary; Grade 12 or equivalent is advantageous.
